Strip steel is widely used in the production of welded steel pipes,  as billets forcold-formed steel, produce for bicycle frames, rims, clamps, washers, spring blades, saw blades, hardware products and blades and so on.

The hot-rolled plain carbon strip steel is made of ordinary carbon structural steel, and be hot-rolled into strip steel with a thickness of 1.80-6.00mm and a width of 50-1200mm.  Mainly used for the manufacture of cold-rolled billets, cold-formed steel billets, welded steel pipe billets, bicycles, and small hardware products.  The cold-rolled high-quality carbon strip steel is made of high-quality carbon structural steel and obtained from  cold-rolled.  Because cold-rolled strip steel can be rolled thinner than hot-rolled strip steel, and has higher dimensional accuracy and higher strength, thinner cold-rolled strip steel is often used instead of thicker hot-rolled strip in the same application, which can save about 30% of steel.  According to the manufacturing precision, it can be divided into four types of strip steel: ordinary precision (P), higher width precision (K), higher thickness precision (H) and width and higher thickness precision (KH).  According to the material state, it can be divided into two types: chilled and annealed. The former has higher strength and the latter has good plasticity and toughness.
